The 4th International Conference on Law and Society (ICLS) committee invites authors who focus on “The Role of Environmental Law and Technology in Addressing Environmental Problems”
The papers should be written in English between 8,000 and 12,000 words (including abstract, reference, and tables/figures), saved Ms. Word files, and formatted in 12 pt in Book Antiqua font. Submission of the manuscript to this conference should not have been published previously in academic publications such as books, book chapters, journals, or any other form of academic publication. The contributors must be submitting their abstracts first in the registration form and the committee will select some abstracts to be presented at this conference.

AUTHOR GUIDELINESS
A. Abstract
An abstract should be approximately 200 – 300 words and consisting a brief summary of the research question being addressed, the method, a summary of results and discussion, and conclusions. The abstract must be equipped with keywords (in italic) that will be the main issues of the paper.
B. Full Paper
A full paper has the following sections:
The paper title should be a maximum of 15 words with a Font size 14. The title of the article must be straightforward and specific and illustrates the main point of the article comprehensively.
Consists of author’s name, author’s affiliation, and author’s email (Font size 12)
The abstract body should have a font size of 11; single space; and it should not be in bold.
A brief introduction will often include a review of the existing literature on the topic studied, and explain the rationale of the author’s study. This section also explains the contribution of this study to the existing academic literature. These main sections may contain more than one discussion topic depending on the number of legal issues discussed.
This section outlines the methodology of how to collect the data whether it is quantitative, qualitative, or a combination of both.
In the discussions, the authors will explain their interpretation of their results and theorize on their importance to existing and future research.
The author should develop the conclusion by briefly restating the research question and the result. The author should also discuss the implications of the research findings.

C. Citations and References
The standard of reference and citation must refer to IEEE style. It is strongly recommended to use a citation manager, such as Mendeley or Zotero.
